Service Description

Fascia, simply put is the connective tissue that holds all of our muscles, bones and blood vessels in place. Imagine a fibrous mesh cocooning everything within us. When stressed, fascia tightens up, leading to a feeling of tension and knots. These are particularly prevalent in and around our necks, shoulders and backs as we go through life, that general day to day tension builds and we end up feeling tight and full of aches. I devised this treatment to utilise a number of techniques to truly get under the skin and provide deep relaxation and softening of the fascia. It incorporates my original training in Swedish Remedial Massage, deep tissue movements and a more targeted Gua Sha focus to release the tight fascia.
